The 3rd year of the NELL program has just concluded.
This year, we successfully engaged in a series of projects and activities:
✔️ Organizing the international Energy Trilemma conference, hosted by the World Energy Council's Latvian National Committee;
✔️ Participation in the World Energy Council centennial congress in Rotterdam;
✔️ Adapting the energy trilemma methodology for Latvia and the Baltics;
✔️ Research on blockchain solutions for individual investments in renewable energy projects;
✔️ A series of educational articles in mass media;
✔️ Participation as speakers, moderators, or panelists in events like "AC/DC Tech," the International Scientific Conference at the University of Latvia, the "Energy 2024" conference by Dienas Bizness, and others;
✔️ Organizing and leading discussions on electrification at the "LAMPA" conversation festival in collaboration with the Green Liberty association;
✔️ Inspiring meetings with energy company leaders and other experienced leaders.
🎓 The end of the 3rd year also marks the graduation of the first participants of the NELL program: Edgars Groza, Haralds Millers, Karīna Viskuba, Raimonda Kursīte, Felikss Zajecs, Otto Krickis, Romāns Olekšijs, and Edgars Smiltāns! We are confident that their collaboration with NELL will continue in the future, but in a different role! 🚀
